Liberal Democrats gain from Conservative

A by-election was held for the Dunster and Timberscombe ward of West Somerset District Council on 23 March 2017 following the resignation of Conservative Cllr Bryan Leaker, citing his opposition to Government cuts to local government funding.

Peter Pilkington gained the seat for the Liberal Democrats.
