Southgate by-election, 2014

Labour gain from Conservative

A by-election was held for the Southgate ward of Crawley Borough Council on 9 October 2014 following the resignation of UKIP Cllr Karl Williamson, originally elected as a Conservative, due to work commitments.

Cllr Williamson was originally elected in 2011, and this seat will be up for election again in 2015.

Michael Pickett gained the seat for Labour.
