Liberal Democrats gain from Labour

A by-election was held for the Holmebrook ward of Chesterfield Borough Council on 21 September 2017 following the resignation of Labour Cllr Stephen Paul Hitchin.

Keith Falconer gained the seat for the Liberal Democrats.
