Labour gain from Conservative

A by-election was held for the Borehamwood Cowley Hill ward of Hertsmere Borough Council on 4 January 2018 following the disqualification of Independent Cllr David Burcombe, originally elected as a Conservative, after he lost his appeal against a conviction for sexual assault (link).

Rebecca Zoe Butler gained the seat for Labour.
